Fostering inclusive and accessible theatre-making:
Participation, empowerment and well-being for people with
disabilities – Stage4All
The main objective of the project is to increase the participation and promote awareness of people with disabilities in the theatre context through active engagement.
Objectives:
Promote transdisciplinary collaborations for advancing the participation of people with disabilities through awareness & capacity building by a conjoined effort from theatre organisations and practitioners & persons with disabilities.
To address the exclusion & marginalization that people with disabilities experience through inclusive & participatory approaches that can develop and advance their theatrical skills.
To revolutionize the landscape of theatre by adopting participatory theatre pedagogies by adopting novel, inclusive narratives and bringing together disabled artists and theatre practitioners.
To accelerate knowledge-sharing, virtual mentoring and exchange of best practices between people with disabilities and Theatre Practitioners in a digital environment ensuring in this way the sustainability of the project resources and outcomes.
