Key Objectives
• Empower YPwDs to act as ambassadors, mentors, and advocates for disability rights and EU values.
• Develop an accessible Training Toolkit, in easy-to-read format, to support learning and dissemination.
• Raise public awareness through campaigns promoting democracy, dignity, respect, and equal participation.
Expected Outcomes & Results
• A trained group of YPwDs as UNCRPD Ambassadors who actively advocate for disability rights and EU values.
• Peer-to-peer mentoring networks that foster empowerment and self-advocacy among YPwDs.
• Accessible Training Toolkit (easy-to-read, inclusive materials) to support learning, advocacy, and dissemination.
• Increased awareness among parents, NGOs, and authorities, equipping them with strategies to support YPwDs’ participation.
• Stronger collaboration between stakeholders, creating supportive and inclusive environments at local and community levels.
